From L to P, first go.
Automatic driving lessons in Clyde and the south-east. I pick you up from home, school or work, and we practise on the roads your Drive Test actually uses.

G'day, I'm [Name].
I started First Go because too many learners around here were being rushed into tests they weren't ready for, failing, and waiting weeks for another booking.
So I do it the slow way first. Quiet streets until you're comfortable, then the busier roads, then the test route itself. By the time you sit the test, it should feel like just another lesson.
I only teach in an automatic, I live ten minutes from Clyde, and I'll tell you honestly when you're ready.

The road to your P plates
Four stops between your first lesson and the day you drive home on your own.
- 1
Book your first lesson
Tell me your suburb and a time that suits. I'll pick you up from home, school or work.
- 2
Learn in quiet streets
Early lessons stay on calm estate roads while you get the feel of steering, braking and mirrors.
- 3
Practise the test route
Once you're steady, we drive the roundabouts, school zones and merges examiners use near the Cranbourne / Dandenong test centre.
- P
Pass first go
We book your test when you're ready, not before. On the day you drive the car you learned in, with a warm-up first.
Spots open this week
Updated every Sunday night. If nothing suits, send a request anyway. Cancellations come up most weeks.
Request a timeWhere I teach
Home base is Clyde. I pick up anywhere in these 14 suburbs, and lessons can finish somewhere else if that's easier, like work or a mate's place.
